THE FIRST PHOTOBOOK PORTRAYING MEMBERS OF THE SINALOA CARTEL.
Sicario Warfare by Eduardo Giralt Brun, Emmanuel Massú, and Pouria Khojastehpay shows photographs taken by an undisclosed commander at the training camps of Cartel de Sinaloa.
The content was extracted from acquired SD cards after an in-person exchange with the undisclosed commander. All photos were taken by the aforementioned between 2019 and 2021.
The images in the book show us the transformation of Mexico’s DTOs (Drug Trafficking Organizations) into paramilitary groups. The gangsters in the photos look more like fighters from a militia than what you expect of gunmen from an organized crime group.
Through Sicario Warfare, you’ll witness the evolution of the hitman into a warlord and an organized crime group into a private army.
